As you may or may not know I will be unemployed by the end of March 2007. Yes I took the bribe by British Airways and promised to leave the building (along with Elvis) on condition they give me a years salary (they called it voluntary severence). So now I have to find another way to be gainfully employed. So after selling most of my java books to Carl I have invested £55 quid in "The Ruby Way" & "Ruby On Rails" in the hope, nay expectation of gaining a heavy load of shekels to pay the "bills". So I will have to learn how to create a website & Ruby promises me to do it in a quick & elegant fashion. As I havent much to do at work for the next month I prepose to create something basic yet wonderful. Dear imaginary reader, I will let you know how I get on. Perhaps even creating a link to something I've actually produced.
British Airways, did you not realise that you are ridding the company of a genius beyond compare ? (perhaps they have seen my code & beg to differ)
